College and Career Fair

Just returned from the 5th annual Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce College and Career Fair. What an incredible event! Over 5,000 students attended workshops, visited with representatives from 64 college and universities, and various other programs. The Riverside Virtual School occupied a booth for the second year in a row. This year was particularly enjoyable for me as I watched RVS students, teachers, and parents work the booth and openly recruit for THEIR program. I was listening to RVS students tell potential recruits why they decided to pursue online learning and how it has impacted their lives. It certainly makes all of the hard work worthwhile.
